Although Innocence Freed is a new nonprofit, its mission and vision are not and neither is the heart behind it. Founded by Julie Shrader previous CEO, and Founder of Restored Wings, she is a dedicated and passionate leader with a strong sense of purpose only God could have given her. Julie has a proven track record of success in providing a trauma-informed therapeutic recovery program for adult women. Julie has been committed to opening a kid's ranch with onsite animal-assisted therapy since 2019. This is the vision God put in her to do and she will do all she can to see it come to fruition. The board of directors may have chosen to make a "change in leadership", but Julie's passion will never change. Julie's will is admirable in that despite facing setbacks and heartbreak in her previous nonprofit, Restored Wings, she remains committed to making a difference in the lives of trafficked children. Starting a new nonprofit, IF, demonstrates her resilience and determination to pursue God's purpose and mission through Julie of helping these vulnerable children transition from surviving to thriving.Given Julie's experience and dedication, IF has a solid foundation to make meaningful impacts in the fight against trafficking.
