Ark Energy’s team will be at Beef Australia 2024 in Rockhampton next week, one of the biggest events for Queensland and Australia’s cattle industry. Visitors to Beef2024 are invited to drop in to our stand in the Robert Schwarten Pavilion, to learn more about the exciting opportunity large-scale wind energy projects offer landholders, as a new and productive land use that’s complementary to cattle grazing. Ark Energy’s Lance Moody and SunHQ teamenjoyed hosting Townsville Enterprise (TEL)'s 2024 North Queensland Future Leaders group at the Sun Metals Green Industrial Precinct last week. The group learned about the SunHQ Hydrogen Hub and were given a tour of the project site and co-located Sun Metals Solar Farm for the program's Module 2: Green Energy. Ark Energy’s Lance Moody and Rhian Aguirre enjoyed joining with Port of Townsville Limited to host the Ports Australia Environment, Planning and Sustainability working group at the Sun Metals Green Industrial Precinct in Townsville this week. Showcasing sustainability in supply chains, the group was given an update on Ark Energy’s first green hydrogen project, the SunHQ Hydrogen Hub, and a tour of the co-located Sun Metals Solar Farm. SunHQ, currently under construction, will produce green hydrogen from a behind-the-meter connection to the solar farm, to power a fleet of fuel cell electric trucks operating between the Sun Metals zinc refinery and the Port of Townsville. #sustainability #renewables #greenhydrogen #solar
